The 3rd Annual International Conference on Combinatorial Optimization and Applications (COCOA'09) was held during June 10-12, 2009, in Yellow Mountains, China. The conference was mainly about the developing of theory and application of combinatorial optimization.

Professer Xu and four other group members (Feifeng Zheng, Ming Liu, Wenming Zhang and Guiqing Zhang) attended the conference.

Professer Xu organized two sessions, and Ming Liu, Wenming Zhang, Guiqing Zhang presented their papers.
